One of my girlies has a big lump on her side. It’s just behind her arm and has been there for just over a week. She is acting the same as usual, running around the flat and begging for attention and treats. She isn’t very old, not even a year yet.
One of the rats I had before used to get lumps around her face and neck a lot, but they were just cysts and would go down or burst on their own. Eventually at the age of around 3 she got a much bigger one behind her front leg and it was cancerous, we had to have her put down. This is why I’m a bit scared, it was in exactly the same place as my rat’s now.
I want to take her to the vets but I’m scared of what they’ll say, the don’t tend to give a rat the same attention as they would a dog or a cat. When I had my last rat put down I had her companion put down as well because she was very old and I couldn’t stand her being so lonely for the last couple of months. Obviously I don’t want to do this again, my two rats are still young and both completely lovely and happy. I can’t have my other healthy happy rat put down too. But on the same point, I can’t have her on her own for all that time. I don’t want to think about the worst case scenario, but I have no experience in introducing new rats and wouldn’t know what to do at all.
I’m a bit sad and worried and could do with some advice.
With Dark Souls 2 being released on friday in the UK, I’d really like to put my thoughts down about the first one. If you like fantasy gaming and haven’t played this one, then please read this and see if I can persuade you…
